Noise can occasionally be a
problem when treating large or exceptionally rigid items but a little
thought and the use of commen sence, by applying one or more of the
following points it can be overcome.
1) Ensure there are no loose
panels etc. on the component. If possible treat the component before
such items as coolant trays are added.
2) Wherever possible move the
component away from the work area.
3) Place a suitably sized tongue
and grooved case over the component
4) Ensure the correct exciter
has been chosen from the range. Treat the quiet modes instead of the
high frequency noisy ones. Study the treatment cycle curves and donít
treat for longer than required.
